Jodhaa Akbar - Jashn-E-Baharra!!!

I have this unreasoning fondness towards Movies, Music, Lyrics. Must be it has many times helped me identify myself. Yup, identifying yourself in others creativity. Many of us do that. I am in awe toward those people who could articulate their feelings, their thoughts in various forms of art and literary work. One such person who tops the list of my favorites is A.R.Rahman. There will be definitely many posts in my blog dedicated to this ' Mozart Of Madras'. For now let me share with you a song whose lyrics has left me charmed. Javed Akhtar has written numerous love songs, but this song ' Kehne Kho Jashn-E-Baharra Hain' from Jodhaa Akhbar is phenomenal. It shows the profound knowledge the writer has in Hindi as well as Urudu literature. The first time I heard it I was in a trance. It was the same feelings inside me that was searching for expression. Now each time I needn't go in search for those words, coz here is a song with all those scattered feelings well integrated. The song is about the pangs of love, the feelings of the man for his beloved. How he wishes spring will soon replace autumn and love will soon blossom. Simply beautiful.
